About Us
Horatio’s opened in 1976, originally as a piano bar. After two previous changes of ownership my father, Mike Nardella, purchased it in 1993 and he ran it for 22 years. I became the owner in July of 2015 and I’ve met some wonderful people and made some everlasting friendships along the way. Horatio’s is a neighborhood bar that brings in a diverse crowd. Being such a small bar, I have customers who are inclined to talk to each other and I get to watch these relationships grow between people of all ages and backgrounds that normally would have never met. It’s something I truly love about being the owner. I have had some amazing employees over the years that have helped shape Horatio’s into the fun and friendly bar that it is. We are open 365 days a year and host a variety of events from food trucks, trivia, brewery tap takeovers, dart leagues, card leagues, and much more. Every May and September I coordinate two charity events, a golf tournament and a motorcycle run. I am very fortunate to have extremely generous customers and friends that help contribute to the huge success of these events. It’s amazing to see people come together for a great cause and I look forward to hosting them each year.
